About
I’ve been doing web development for many years. Along the way I’ve learned what seems can fill a thousand encyclopedias worth of knowledge. Every day I learn more and more. What seemed like amazing, unknowable technology yesteryear I find clear and understandable today. That is the inspiration behind this blog.
This blog is meant to serve as an informational resource to web developers of every kind. While I don’t think myself infinitely knowledgeable in my field, the years have taught me quite a few things. It is my hope that I can provide insight to some of the problems web developers face today.
About The Author
I’m Christopher Nadeau, the author of all the entries on this blog. I’m 19 years old and I live near Toronto, Ontario, Canada where I’ve been all my life. My interest in web development started at a very young age when my family first received one of the infamous “500 Free Hours” offers from AOL. As soon as I got online I was immediately interested in how to make web pages. Years later, web development is my job and I couldn’t imagine it being any other way. My skills are mainly concentrated in PHP, Javascript, XHTML and CSS. I am a Zend Certified Engineer (ZCE). I passed the PHP5 Certification Exam on June 6th, 2007.
My company is called Outershift where I offer various web development services. My main employer is Headstart Solutions, where I help develop the commercial helpdesk application called DeskPRO. In my spare time I also like to help manage some of my favorite websites like We Talk TV, vBulletin Fans and The New Tech.
